I convinced Michaleen to go on an overnight snowshoe hike with me down near Mt. Hood. We decided to stay at the Barlow Butte hut, part of the Cascade Huts system. The hike was not super long, but it was supremely peaceful and enjoyable to be out in the snow-covered forest.
